For the effects and purposes of Legislative Decree no. 196 (Code pertaining to the protection of personal data), we hereby inform you that the personal data you provided to Maja sas, with registered office in via Leonardo da Vinci 40, 35018 San Martino di Lupari (PD), Tax ID code and VAT no. 04166000283, will be processed in compliance with the applicable laws on the protection of personal data, and with the principles of confidentiality pursued by this Company.
2. Purposes of data processing
The personal data you provided to Maja sas will be used, in addition to legal purposes, for managing and executing your orders or purchase proposals, and to provide any ancillary services due to you and deal with any specific requests you may make.
In addition, if you have given your express consent by placing a tick in the boxes provided, we may:
a) send you communications with you and keep you up-to-date with our activities, promotions and special offers;
b) send the communications in point a) by means of automated electronic communication systems (e-mail, sms, mms and fax).
3. How data is processed
In relation to the purposes described in the above paragraph, personal data will be processed using paper and/or electronic instruments, which are logically and strictly connected to the purposes outlined above and, in any case, in such a way to guarantee the security, secrecy and confidentiality of such data (in particular with regard to the use of remote communication methods).
4. Provision of data and consequences of refusal
The provision of your personal data is optional.
If you refuse to provide this data, or if you provide information which is incorrect and/or incomplete, it may make it impossible for us to manage or execute your orders or purchase proposals and, in general, to carry out the activities outlined in point 2 above. In this case we decline any liability.
5. Data communication
The personal data you provided to the Company may also come to the knowledge of the data controllers or the persons-in-charge of personal data, who have been designated for this task by Maja sas, when carrying out their work and with regard to the purposes of the data processing.
Your personal data may also be passed onto:
(a) entities providing services to Maja sas or services relating to the above purposes, such as, by mere way of example, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated and/or associated companies, other parties, and also electronic and/or telematic instruments used by Maja sas;
(b) suppliers, banks and/or insurance companies or, more in general, other parties and/or entities that provide (on behalf of Maja sas or for their own account), the activities referred to in paragraph 2 above, or other activities that are related or useful thereto;
(c) consultants that assist the Company for different reasons with particular reference to legal and fiscal aspects, social insurance, accounting and organization;
(d) any other entity whose data has to be passed on based on legal provisions.
Your personal data may also be transferred abroad, both to countries in the European Community and third countries, in compliance with the applicable statutory provisions and always for the purposes of data processing.

7. Rights of Data subject

ARTICLE 7 – RIGHT OF ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER RIGHTS
1. The data subject concerned has the right to obtain the confirmation that personal data relating to him/her exist, even if they have not yet been registered, and to receive a copy thereof in an intelligible form.
2. The data subject concerned has the right to know:
a) the origin of his/her personal data;
b) the purpose and method of data processing;
c) the logics applied if the data is processed with the aid of electronic instruments;
d) the identification details of the data controller, the people-in-charge of data processing and the representative designated pursuant to article 5(2);
e) of the subjects or of the categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be forwarded or who may become aware of such data in their capacity of designated representative of the State, of persons-in-charge or of persons entrusted with the processing of the data.
3. The data subject has the right to obtain:
a) the update, the correction or, if interested, the integration of the data;
b) the deletion, anonymous transformation or blockage of the data processed in violation of the law, including any data which is not necessary to keep on file in relation to the purposes for which the data was collected in the first place or processed subsequently;
c) confirmation that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been brought to the knowledge, also with regard to their content, of those persons to whom the data has been forwarded, unless this is impossible to do or would involve a use of means which is demonstrably disproportionate to the right being protected.
4. The data subject has the right to oppose, fully or partially:
a) when legitimate reasons subsist, the processing of his/her personal data, even if such data is pertinent to the purpose for which it has been collected;
b) the processing of his/her personal data for the purpose of sending publicity material, direct sales, market research or commercial messages.
